a taste of who we are

Meeting us in person is probably best…

Below is a brief introduction as to who we are, but we think it is best to meet up and have a chat to really see who we are.

If you are unable to meet in person, we could always have a video call over Skype or Facetime. Otherwise, do feel free to drop us an email or give us a call.

Look forward to meeting you…

For now, here is some of what people have to say about us, before we tell you about ourselves:

Laura and Benny

Laura is a Cobh girl, we will forgive her for that. But growing up on the island, at the tip of Cork in the South of Ireland has given her some character and an eye for a good photograph. The balance of country living by one of the world largest natural harbours has allowed Laura to appreciate light and colours in many shades. Laura originally trained in lighting design, given the global changes in 2008 and the impact on the construction industry in Ireland, her days of designing interior lighting for domestic, commercial and  retails projects were curtailed.

Laura’s appreciation for light and naturally being a people person saw her gravitate towards Wedding Photography. Laura’s design skills gives her a creative edge in post processing, but first and foremost her skill in capturing people’s special moments sets her apart. A genuine interest in helping and documenting people’s Wedding Day stands out in her work. The kind words in the feedback from newly weds and their family and friends confirms Laura’s ability to be a top Wedding Photographer.

Benny is the techie of the pair. Naturally intrigued by what the latest technical capabilities are, putting that to use be it in capturing photographs, displaying images, editing and much more. This married with a creative ability to capture moments and a desire to capture the next moment, not letting the instance pass adds a nice partnership to all Laura has to offer.

Benny born and bred in Dublin, for which there is nothing to forgive him for, despite what the Corkconians say. Benny after a traveling around the world stopped in Cobh and forgot to go home. While Laura and Benny make a some what perfect match in Cork, Dublin is still first and foremost Benny’s true home and photographing Dublin Weddings (and its surrounding areas) gives him a chance to show Laura want the Capital City is and who its people are.

Laura and Benny have photographed Weddings internationally as well as nationally and look forward to hearing about your Wedding Day.
